The FDP Switzerland will meet this Saturday morning in Zug for its delegates' meeting, where it will adopt its slogans for the vote on March 3. Guests from the Federal Council will include Karin Keller-Sutter and Ignazio Cassis.

The focus will be on securing old-age provision, as can be seen from the invitation from the FDP Switzerland. It describes this as one of the "most important challenges of our time". According to the party, the AHV is threatened with negative figures in the coming years and the pensions of future generations are at risk.

To kick off the meeting, the FDP will discuss the Young Liberals' pension initiative and adopt a voting position. Among other things, the initiative proposes raising the retirement age to 66 by 2032 and then linking it to life expectancy. This is opposed by the initiative for a 13th AHV pension, which will also be put to the vote on March 3.

In addition, the slogans on the SP's premium relief initiative, the centrist cost brake initiative, the referendum against highway expansion and the referendum against the federal law on a secure electricity supply with renewable energies will be adopted.
