Federal Councillor Cassis arrives in the landslide area in Misox GR

Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis arrived in the landslide area in the southern Graubünden valley of Misox on Sunday afternoon. The President of the Graubünden cantonal government Jon Domenic Parolini (center) and the President of the Ticino cantonal government Christian Vitta (FDP) are also on site.
Following the media conference in Roveredo GR, an inspection is planned in Sorte GR, almost nine kilometers to the north. A landslide occurred in the district of the municipality of Lostallo GR on Friday evening after heavy thunderstorms and persistent downpours.
A cone of rubble buried three houses and initially four people. On Saturday morning, the emergency services were able to rescue a woman from the cone of rubble and fly her to hospital. The three other people, a couple and a woman, are still being searched for.
