Flyer AG, an electric bike manufacturer, is restructuring its operations at its Huttwil location, resulting in 80 job losses out of a total of 302. Both production and administration roles are affected. A social plan is in place. The company has stated that the current "difficult market situation" in the bicycle industry is impacting the company, and the restructuring program is intended to secure the long-term future of the business.
