Franke takes over Wesco Group

Franke takes over the Swiss ventilation specialist Wesco in full. The company, which is part of the Artemis Group, is thus strengthening its market position in the extractor hood and air filtration sector in Switzerland and Germany. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed in Monday's press release.
According to a press release, Wesco's products would complement Franke's product range both geographically and strategically. The takeover of the family-owned company is part of a succession plan. Wesco is to be integrated into the Home Solutions division of the Franke Group.
According to the information, Wesco, based in Wettingen, generated sales of CHF 97 million in the 2022/23 financial year and employs 280 people. For its part, the globally active Franke Group generated sales of 2.42 billion Swiss francs in 2023.
