French building materials producer Imerys cuts 25 jobs in Ticino

The Imerys Group, which specializes in the production and processing of industrial minerals, is cutting 25 jobs in Bodio in Ticino. According to the management, the consultation process has been initiated with the staff representatives.
As required by legal procedures and the applicable collective labor agreement for the metal and electrical industry, the social partners have been informed, according to the press release from Imerys Graphite & Carbon Switzerland SA. The planned restructuring is due to structural and organizational changes.
Imerys is a French building materials producer with headquarters in Paris. It employs 227 people in Bodio.
