Graubünden police officers put themselves in danger in Misox GR

A patrol of the Graubünden cantonal police lost a vehicle in the floods in the southern Graubünden valley of Misox on Friday evening. The patrol was on the lookout for people or animals that could be in danger after a heavy thunderstorm and a landslide.
The police officers had put themselves in danger, said William Kloter, commander of the Graubünden cantonal police, to the media in Roveredo on Saturday morning. They could have been saved thanks to the quick reactions of their comrades. They could only watch as the police vehicle was swept away by the floods.
