Helicopters in the Maggia Valley have completed 400 flights so far

So far, 400 helicopter flights have been completed in the upper Maggia Valley, which was hit hard by a storm. This was announced by the Ticino emergency services at a media conference in Locarno on Thursday afternoon.
Of these, 350 flights were carried out by civilian helicopters. A further 50 flights were carried out by military helicopters, explained Antonio Ciocco, head of the Ticino emergency services. Among others, a Super Puma from the Swiss army was also deployed.
