The number of jobs advertised by the ten largest Swiss banks fell in August. Overall, there were almost 7 percent fewer job advertisements on the banks' websites than in July.
This means that the upward trend in job vacancies seen in previous months has not been confirmed. A total of 759 job vacancies can be found on the job pages of the ten largest Swiss banks, excluding apprenticeships. This is the result of an analysis by the job portal Indeed, which regularly evaluates the jobs advertised on the banks' websites for the news agency AWP. Only jobs with a place of work in Switzerland are taken into account.
The number of job advertisements fell, particularly at the Raiffeisen Group and Zürcher Kantonalbank, but also at the private banks Pictet and Lombard Odier as well as at the listed Vontobel. Only Postfinance and Migros Bank had slightly more job advertisements on their websites. At UBS, the number of job advertisements remained stable.
