Karl’s Bold Street Show Bids Farewell to St-Triphon VD

Karl's kühne Gassenschau had a successful season in the quarries of St-Triphon VD, with almost 75,000 spectators attending to watch their new version of the play "Silo 8". The show combined poetry and stunts to take the audience to a special retirement home, where the director is trying to force the residents to give up their personal belongings at the reception. The team was supported by 50 local people for cleaning and reception duties. 72 performances were held in 2023. The project of a data centre in the quarries of St-Triphon VD was delayed, allowing Karl's kühne Gassenschau to perform there this year. It is unclear when the troupe will return to the West Switzerland. In the next year, a new show titled "Reception" will be performed in Dietikon ZH from June, which will be a water spectacle. The troupe was founded in 1984 and has since presented 22 different productions and 2700 performances, for which it has been awarded the Swiss Theatre Prize.
