Klaus Schwab and WEF sued for racism

The World Economic Forum (WEF) and its founder Klaus Schwab have been accused of racial and pregnancy discrimination by an African-American employee. The plaintiff's position was eliminated after her pregnancy leave.
Furthermore, the position of the complaining political expert is said to have been filled by a non-pregnant, white woman at the beginning of this year, wrote the "Handelszeitung" on Tuesday.
"While it is unfortunate that such false allegations arise, now that these matters are coming before the courts, the falsity of these allegations will become apparent," the WEF told the Keystone-SDA news agency when asked.
The lawsuit follows a report in the "Wall Street Journal" in June, which described a misogynistic and racist workplace culture, wrote the business newspaper. The lawsuit alleges that the WEF "systematically discriminates" against its black employees and tends to keep them away from Davos GR.
The WEF announced in May that Schwab would step down from active leadership of the organization and move into a non-executive role by January.
