Lucerne is all about film in November

Lucerne is one of the first Swiss cities to host the European Film Awards. Government Councillor Armin Hartmann (SVP) and City President Beat Züsli (SP) emphasized the importance of the event for the canton and city at a media orientation.
In addition to the added value for the city, Züsli is hoping for a boost for the film industry. Films will continue to be shot in Lucerne and Central Switzerland in the future, as he said at the media conference at the Bourbaki Stattkino Luzern on Monday.
Director of Education and Culture Hartmann is delighted that Lucerne has been chosen as the venue. The cantons of Central Switzerland attach great importance to active film promotion.
