Lucerne’s former FDP member of the Council of States Robert Bühler passes away

Former Lucerne FDP member of the Council of States and former member of the cantonal government Robert Bühler passed away on Saturday at the age of 95. He was a member of the cantonal government from 1977 to 1989. He was elected to the Council of States in 1989 and represented the canton of Lucerne in Bern until 1995.
His career has been exemplary, the FDP of the city of Lucerne announced on Monday. He had reached all levels of politics, from the Grand Council in Lucerne to the Council of States. "At every level, he found the ideal place for his work", the party wrote. His political focus was on security and education.
