A 50-year-old Swiss man has confessed to killing a 41-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds in Bex VD at the end of April. The man was a known acquaintance of the victim and both were involved in the drug scene. The exact motive is still unknown, but the police have ruled out a femicide. The investigation was conducted by the department for crimes against the person of the cantonal police. No further details have been released. The man confessed to the crime after multiple interrogations and is currently in custody. The victim was found dead in the basement of her home on April 29th.
