Man Opens Fire on Fleeing Opponents in Zurich

On Tuesday evening in Zurich, a dispute escalated into a shooting incident, in which a 15-year-old was injured while fleeing from a shooter. Fortunately, no one was hit by a bullet.
At around 7 pm, several people got into an argument at the Unteren Letten. One of the people apparently drew a weapon, according to the city police on Thursday. The other participants immediately ran away in all directions.
The person with the weapon fired multiple shots at the fleeing individual, but according to current findings, no one was hit. However, a 15-year-old youth sustained leg injuries while running away.
The exact background of this act is still unclear. The Cantonal Police of Zurich and the State Prosecutor I for serious violent crime have initiated investigations.
