Masses of water complicate search for missing person in Ticino

The large volumes of water are making the search for the person still missing in the upper Maggia Valley on Monday more difficult. This was explained by the head of the Ticino emergency services at a media conference in Locarno early Monday evening.
It is quite possible that other people have disappeared or are missing, continued Antonio Ciocco, head of the Ticino emergency services.
When asked by media representatives, Ciocco could not and would not say which zones the search was currently focusing on. A lot of tips were received and all of them are being followed up.
