Mother does not suffer from mental disorders according to expert

According to the psychiatric expert, the woman accused of killing her daughter does not suffer from a major mental disorder. She has an accentuation which, however, does not exceed the threshold of a personality disorder.
The woman came from a conservative background, which also shaped her expectations of herself, for example as a mother. In addition, the accused also had a great need for freedom. These two components led to inner conflicts, the expert witness explained to the Bern Regional Court on Wednesday.
Personality accentuation does not make it easy for women in partnerships, but it also works very well, for example at work.
