Motorist crashes into wall in Biasca and dies

A 59-year-old female driver crossed into the oncoming lane in Biasca TI on Saturday afternoon and crashed into a wall with full force. She suffered fatal injuries as a result. Resuscitation attempts at the scene were unsuccessful.
According to the cantonal police, it was unclear in the evening how the accident occurred. The woman lost control of her vehicle, veered to the left and ended up in the oncoming lane and against the wall. She was an Italian citizen and lived in the region.
