Mountain climber falls to his death in Ticino

A 43-year-old mountain climber died in Ticino on Friday. For unknown reasons, he slid down a slope in the mountains around Lodrino and suffered fatal injuries, as the cantonal police reported on Saturday.
The Swiss national, who lived in the region, was reported missing in the evening. He was found dead in rough terrain shortly after midnight, according to the police. The lifeless body was recovered by Rega on Saturday morning.
