Nidwalden is ready for international peace conference

According to Nidwalden's Director of Justice and Security Karin Kayser-Frutschi, the cantonal authorities are ready for next weekend's Ukraine peace summit on the Bürgenstock. "The security measures are on track."
Ensuring security is a challenge, but cooperation with the national authorities has worked very well since day one, Kayser-Frutschi told the media in Bern on Monday. Such a situation had been practiced for years in the security network.
"We are trying to keep the restrictions for the population as small as possible." Kayser-Frutschi emphasized that the safety of the population is also guaranteed at all times.
