The Commission will investigate the circumstances leading up to the merger, the impact of the merger on the Swiss banking sector, and the potential implications of the merger for the Swiss economy. The Commission will also examine the role of the Swiss government in the merger process and the potential conflicts of interest that may have arisen. The Commission will hold public hearings and will invite representatives from the banking sector, the government, and other stakeholders to testify. The Commission will also review documents and other evidence related to the merger. The Commission's findings and recommendations will be presented to the Swiss Parliament in a report. The report will be made public and will be used to inform future policy decisions related to the banking sector.
