Poll: Swiss national team advances to the round of 16 of the European Championship

Most Swiss believe that the Swiss national team will advance to the round of 16 at the European Football Championship: 27%. According to market research institute Yougov, around a fifth believe the team will be eliminated in the quarter-finals.
A full ten percent of the Swiss people surveyed by Yougov were particularly optimistic: they saw Switzerland as European champions, as the market research institute announced on Friday. Over half also stated that they wanted to watch every game of the Swiss national team.
The current global situation does not stop at the European Championships, as the press release revealed. For example, 42% of respondents were concerned about possible terrorist attacks.
Yougov surveyed 1001 people aged 18 and over in Switzerland online at the beginning of May for what it claims was a representative survey.
