Prisoner found dead in a Geneva police station cell

A prisoner was found lifeless in a cell at a Geneva police station on Wednesday morning. The public prosecutor's office has launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.
The person detained in the old police station could not be resuscitated despite the efforts of the mobile emergency and resuscitation service and security staff, the Geneva State Chancellery announced on Wednesday. The authorities did not wish to provide any further information.
