Reservoirs and gas storage facilities are filled to above-average levels

According to the latest figures from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, Switzerland's reservoirs are currently 83.7% full. This means that the levels are 14.1 percentage points higher than the average at the same time in the last 20 years.
The gas storage facilities in Germany, which are also important for Switzerland's energy supply, are currently 98.0% full. This is according to data updated daily by the industry association Gas Infrastructure Europe. The fill level is therefore above the long-term average. Over the last ten years, it was 86.2% at the same time.
