The Fribourg public prosecutor's office has dropped a second complaint filed by Migros Neuchâtel-Fribourg against former Migros regional head Damien Piller. It has concluded that no criminal offense was committed, as it announced on Thursday.
It awarded Piller compensation amounting to a good CHF 48,000. The costs of the proceedings and the compensation will be imposed on Migros. An initial complaint had already been dropped earlier.
Piller was formerly President of the Migros Regional Cooperative Neuchâtel-Fribourg, but was also a real estate investor. Migros had accused him of putting them at a disadvantage in real estate transactions.
