SP speaks of an attack on social Switzerland

The SP criticizes the Federal Council's cost-cutting proposals as "slashing at the expense of the people". It is an attack on social Switzerland. It will fight this with all its strength.
"In addition to the increase in the army, the alleged financial policy bottlenecks are due to the ideological tunnel vision in the Department of Finance," the party wrote in a communiqué on Friday.
According to the SP, it would be socially devastating if cuts were made to the AHV, daycare centers, development cooperation and climate protection. Meanwhile, the army, corporations and the wealthy would continue to be spared.
"The excessive tax giveaways for companies and the rich over the last few decades are now taking their revenge," SP Co-President Cédric Wermuth was quoted as saying in the press release.
