Specialist doctors are not happy with Tardoc. In particular, they are bothered by the transitional provisions that the Organization for Outpatient Tariffs (OAAT) presented on Tuesday as part of the agreement for the new tariff in the outpatient sector.

The specialist medical profession in Switzerland is represented by the FMCH, the association of surgical and invasive specialist societies. The association announced on Thursday that the transitional provisions presented did not meet the needs of the specialist associations.

And it sees it as a clear mandate to the tariff partners that the medical profession, together with the OAAT, should quickly develop appropriate and practicable flat rates that comply with the Health Insurance Act (KVG).

The FMCH also calls for the medical societies to be consulted for their expertise in reviewing and improving the tariff system. In this way, a sustainable solution could be developed through concrete cooperation.
