According to the Swiss Radio and Television Corporation (SRG), these included the first Italian-language crime series called "Alter Ego" by the television station of Italian-speaking Switzerland RSI, the Rhaeto-Romanic series "L'ultim rumantsch" by the Rhaeto-Romanic television station RTR and the feature film "Bon Schuur Ticino". Of the 190 films and series co-produced by SRG, 93 were shown in cinemas.
The most successful production in German-speaking Switzerland was the TV series "Davos 1917" with 636,000 viewers, as SRG wrote on its website.
Pact renewed until 2027
In French-speaking Switzerland, the documentary "La Fraternité" was the most popular with an average of 123,500 viewers. On RSI it was "La mia danza" with 14,600 viewers and on RTR "Mulegns raquinta sia istorgia" with 38,000 viewers.
With the "Pacte de l'audiovisuel", SRG had committed to investing CHF 32.5 million per year in Swiss filmmaking until the end of 2023.
For the next four-year period from 2024, this amount has been increased to CHF 34 million, according to SRG. The "Pacte de l'audiovisuel" has been in place since 1997.
