Stadler Rail appoints Marc Meschenmoser as new Head of Communications

Rail vehicle manufacturer Stadler Rail has appointed Marc Meschenmoser as the new Head of Corporate Communications. The 50-year-old will take up his new role on October 1, 2024 and join the extended Group Executive Board, as the company announced on Friday.
Meschenmoser was most recently editorial director of the consumer magazines "K-Tipp" and "Saldo". Before that, he worked at Swiss television SRF for 14 years. He succeeds Gerda Königstorfer, who held the position for almost three years.
Jürg Grob, who will also join Stadler on October 1, has been appointed as his deputy. Grob was most recently Head of Newsroom and Editor-in-Chief at SBB.
