Summer mark of 25 degrees cracked at various locations

On Saturday, temperatures broke the summer day mark of 25 degrees in various places in Switzerland. Locally it was over 26 degrees, according to the private weather service Meteonews. The warmest was in Othmarsingen AG with 27.3 degrees.
Biasca TI and Thun BE came in second place ex aequo with 26.7 degrees each, according to the measurement data published by Meteonews on the X short message service. In contrast, the station on the Jungfraujoch recorded the lowest daytime temperature at -3 degrees.
Summer temperatures were also recorded by Sion (26.2 degrees), Visp (25.8), Grono GR (25.6) and Arlesheim BL (25.2). According to the weather forecast, it should be similarly warm on Sunday.
