Swiss Suspends Flights to Beirut

Swiss airline has announced that it will suspend its flights to and from Beirut until October 28th due to the tensions at the border between Israel and Lebanon. The four Swiss flights between Zurich and the Lebanese capital on 17th, 19th, 24th and 26th October will be affected. The safety of passengers and crew has the highest priority for Swiss. After careful examination of the situation in Lebanon, the airline has decided to suspend the flights to and from Beirut as an expansion of the conflict cannot be ruled out. Swiss will inform the affected passengers and fully reimburse the ticket costs.
