Ten Swiss People Flew from Niger to Paris

Ten Swiss nationals left Niger on Wednesday evening aboard a French plane bound for Paris. This was confirmed by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (EDA) in response to a request from Keystone-SDA. The Swiss nationals were evacuated from the African country due to the deteriorating security situation. The EDA provided assistance to the Swiss citizens in their return to Switzerland. The Swiss government is monitoring the situation in Niger closely and is in contact with the local authorities.nnnn
