The canton of Zurich has elected 36 people to the National Council in the recent elections. Those who were not re-elected include Judith Bellaiche (GLP), Jörg Mäder (GLP), Therese Schläpfer (SVP) and Meret Schneider (Green).

The canton of Zurich is one of the 26 cantons of Switzerland and is the most populous of them all. The canton is divided into 12 districts and is home to over 1.5 million people. The canton is also the economic and cultural centre of Switzerland.

The National Council is the lower house of the Swiss Federal Assembly and is composed of 200 members. The members are elected by the people of the cantons and serve for four years. The canton of Zurich elects 36 members to the National Council.

In the recent elections, the canton of Zurich elected 36 people to the National Council. The elected members include representatives from the major political parties in Switzerland, such as the Social Democratic Party, the Swiss People's Party, the Green Party, the Free Democratic Party, and the Liberal Green Party.

However, four members were not re-elected. These include Judith Bellaiche (GLP), Jörg Mäder (GLP), Therese Schläpfer (SVP) and Meret Schneider (Green). The newly elected members will serve for the next four years.
