The SVP discusses its core issues in Thurgau

With Federal Councillors Albert Rösti and Guy Parmelin as guests, the SVP held its delegates' meeting in Alterswilen TG on Saturday. Campaign manager Marcel Dettling was satisfied with the elections.
According to Dettling, party president Marco Chiesa (SR/TI) had tasked him with mobilizing 100,000 more voters in this year's federal elections than four years ago. The party ultimately won back around 93,000 voters. The mobilization target was not quite reached.
According to the agenda, Chiesa will present the priorities for the coming legislative period during a speech. Another item on the agenda is a speech by Lucerne National Councillor Franz Grüter on the topic of Switzerland-EU.
Other topics include the wars in Europe and the Middle East and Swiss neutrality.
