Twelve candidates have been proposed for the two Ständeratssitze of the canton of Zurich. The deadline for further nominations is the end of next week. The twelve candidates include three independent candidates, Jonathan Ravindran, Bernhard Schmidt and Peter Vetsch, as well as the incumbent SP-Ständerat Daniel Jositsch and nine other candidates from various parties. This year, the Zurich voters will receive a supplementary sheet with information about the candidates for the Ständerat. People who are not on the sheet are also eligible to vote, provided they are eligible and have their political residence in the canton of Zurich.nnnnnnnn
