Regional and national train services will be disrupted next weekend for the expansion of Lenzburg AG station and the renewal of the Lenzburg-Othmarsingen AG railroad line. Some of the connections between Olten and Zurich will be canceled, and replacement buses will be used on regional services.
According to a statement from SBB, cable pulling and overhead line work will be carried out from Saturday. The line between Lenzburg and Othmarsingen will be completely closed for this purpose. Replacement buses will be running between midday on Saturday, November 9, and Monday morning at 04.45 on November 11. The Olten-Zurich trains on the IR35 line and the trains between Lenzburg and Zurich on the IR37 line will be canceled.
SBB recommends consulting the online timetable or the SBB app before starting your journey. From Monday until the beginning of December, further night-time work will be carried out on the overhead lines and to renew the Lenzburg-Rupperswil track. However, this will not affect the timetable, according to the statement.
