According to a survey, the payment app Twint is now the company with the best reputation among the Swiss population. Twint thus replaces last year's "reputation winner" Migros. The retail giant fell to third place behind potato chips manufacturer Zweifel in the survey conducted by consumer research company GfK.
Twint is seen as a "top company" that offers better services than other companies in the sector, GfK Switzerland announced on Thursday. The under-30s in particular rated Twint extremely highly. Migros, which is now in third place, is still the company with which the Swiss can identify most strongly. However, it has lost ground in terms of "social and moral esteem" in particular, according to the consumer researchers.
Candy manufacturer Ricola follows in fourth place in the ranking and SBB in fifth place, moving up five places. SBB achieved the highest scores in terms of environmental sustainability, according to the report. Rivella, Mobiliar, Coop, Lindt&Sprüngli and Geberit followed in sixth to tenth place.
Among the non-profit organizations, Swiss Air-Rescue Rega leads the ranking for the seventh time. In second place is the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation, followed by the Swiss Red Cross.
The "GfK Business Reflector" measures the reputation of the 50 leading Swiss companies and 20 best-known non-profit organizations every year. According to the information provided, the results are based on over 3,500 interviews conducted throughout Switzerland between mid-January and mid-February.
