Two hamlets and a campsite in Valais evacuated

The Valais authorities had a campsite and the two hamlets of Le Frignoley and Les Epenays in Val de Bagnes evacuated on Wednesday. There is a threat of a dangerous mudslide.
The upper part of the Val de Bagnes is inaccessible. Both access roads are closed. The authorities fear that the Le Frignoley torrent, which has already triggered a debris flow and is carrying a lot of water, will once again cause debris avalanches.
According to the authorities, there was no damage, but the risk was so great that the population and guests of the campsite were brought to safety. The police and fire department were on site.
