Two Young Men Arrested for Brawl in Lugano

The Canton of Ticino's Public Prosecutor's Office has arrested two young men in connection with a night-time altercation in the centre of Lugano involving multiple people. An 18-year-old Italian national with residence in the Lugano area and a 19-year-old Moroccan national with residence in the Mendrisiotto area were arrested on Saturday, according to a joint statement from the Cantonal Police and the Public Prosecutor's Office. Further investigations are ongoing and there is suspicion of serious bodily harm, simple bodily harm, fighting and theft.
