The visual and acoustic presentation of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) from May 12 to 17, 2025 in Basel combines traditional images and music from Switzerland with special effects and modern beats. SRG provided the first insights into the ESC stage on Monday.
At the center of the visual signet are the ESC hearts, which form pixel-like virtual image worlds and contrast with real video sequences. These range from a Heidi mountain idyll to images of a diverse modern society.
The visual language was developed by Artur Deyneuve, as was the accompanying soundscape. Florian Wieder, who has developed an ESC stage design for the fourth time, is responsible for the show stage, which is embedded in a virtual mountain world.
The ticket sales procedure for the nine shows in the St. Jakobshalle was also announced on Monday. Pre-registration started on Monday, followed by actual ticket sales on January 29. Sales will be handled by the Ticketcorner platform.
