The strike in Hollywood has forced the filming of the western series "Yellowstone" to take a break. But fans won't have to wait much longer for new episodes.
The new episodes of the neo-western series "Yellowstone" will start in German-speaking countries on November 12. However, they will then only be available on AXN Black, as the pay-TV channel announced.
The episodes will be available there in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on a linear basis and at the same time in the media library. The pay TV program is also available as a media library on other platforms in Germany, including Vodafone, MagentaTV, Amazon Prime Video Channels and waipu.tv.
2025 also with Paramount+
The season will then be available to watch "over the course of next year" on Paramount+, a spokeswoman for the German-language streaming service said on request.
The Paramount Network has already announced the start of the remaining episodes of season five in the USA for November 10. The Hollywood strike by writers and others had prevented filming, meaning that only part of the season could be seen and was abruptly canceled.
"Yellowstone" by screenwriter Taylor Sheridan, starring Hollywood star Kevin Costner as the family patriarch, is a contemporary western series. Everything revolves around the Dutton family, who run the Yellowstone ranch in the US state of Montana on the border with Canada. They are fighting to preserve their property and are up against major external investors.
