According to a press release issued on Wednesday, Raug is moving to Ruag from Lucerne-based technology group Schurter, where he was also most recently CEO.

As the new Chief Operating Officer, Müller replaces Thomas Kipfer and Christian Priller, who have been managing the company on an interim basis since August 2023. The previous head, Brigitte Beck, left the company after just half a year following a controversy over a public appearance.

Following the split-up of the Ruag Group, Ruag MRO is primarily active as a technology partner for the Swiss Armed Forces. In contrast, the international part consists primarily of the Beyond Gravity division, which is mainly active in the space business.
