Sabine Magri to lead UBS’s local retail business starting July 1, succeeding Simone Westerfeld after four and a half years.
An important change is taking place in the Swiss business of UBS. Sabine Magri will become the new head of the local retail business, according to an internal memo sent to employees on Thursday and obtained by the news agency AWP. The financial portal “Finews” first reported on this.
Magri, currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Personal & Corporate Banking (P&C) – the Swiss business of UBS – will take over the management of Personal Banking as of July 1. UBS Switzerland CEO Sabine Keller-Busse wrote to her team, announcing the integration of BANK-now and the UBS Card Center into the division.
In recent months, Magri has been instrumental in advancing the integration of Credit Suisse Swiss Bank as “Head Integration” for the Switzerland region. She succeeds Simone Westerfeld, who has decided to pursue a new challenge internally after four and a half years as Head of Private Client Business in Switzerland.
