Retour au fil d'actualité

Due to the temporary closure of the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the BLS (Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon Railway) is offering an additional 20 freight trains per day on the Lötschberg-Simplon axis. This is out of a total of 48 additional "trains" (transport routes) that can be offered per day. These routes either go through the Base Tunnel or over the mountain route. The BLS expects the demand and number of trains to increase in the coming days. So far, the interruption at Gotthard has had no effect on the car transport between Kandersteg BE and Goppenstein VS or on the occupancy of BLS passenger trains. The SBB also reported that they have not yet noticed any shift of passengers to the Lötschberg-Simplon axis.nnnnnnnnnn
