In his speech to the SP delegates in Biel BE, President Alain Berset reminded them that it is good to get angry sometimes, but pure outrage is futile and optimism and hope are needed. He said that the upcoming elections are a great opportunity for the SP to engage with the people, listen to their grievances and show them that change is possible. He urged the SP to inspire optimism and hope, as those whose status quo is strengthened by no change will be content with it. Berset encouraged the people to get angry, but to remain optimistic and engaged in the pursuit of a fairer society. He said that progress may be slow and difficult, but it is necessary to keep striving towards the goal.nnnnnnnnnnnn
