Retour au fil d'actualité

On Tuesday, Daniel Jositsch, the Social Democratic Party (SP) member of the Council of States from Zurich, announced his candidacy for the Federal Council. Last year, Jositsch ran against the wishes of his party for the succession of Simonetta Sommaruga. Jositsch is a lawyer and a former member of the Swiss National Council. He is a strong advocate for social justice and has been a vocal critic of the current government's policies. He is also a proponent of a stronger Swiss presence in the European Union. Jositsch is seen as a strong candidate for the Federal Council and his candidacy is likely to be welcomed by many in the SP.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
