The delegates of the employee organisation Tranvail.Suisse unanimously re-elected Adrian Wüthrich as president for a further four years at their congress in Bern on Saturday. Swiss Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin acknowledged the value of social partnership in his speech as a guest speaker. This is the second consecutive re-election of Wüthrich as president, according to the umbrella organisation. The president declared before the delegates that, in view of the diminishing purchasing power, the commitment to employees is more necessary than ever. In addition to the president, the delegates elected five new members to the board. The congress also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the association. The assembly is the highest body of Travail.Suisse. The umbrella organisation represents the over 130,000 members of its member associations.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
