Eating chocolate may have health benefits, according to a study published in the Swiss Medical Weekly. The study found that people who ate two to six chocolate bars per week had better cognitive performance, a lower risk of hospitalization due to heart failure, and a lower overall mortality rate. The researchers suggest that the positive effects of chocolate may be due to its ability to improve the function of the endothelium, which lines the walls of the blood vessels, and to reduce oxidative stress. However, they caution that their results are only associations and not causal relationships. Therefore, more research is needed to confirm the potential health benefits of chocolate.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
