The Average Monthly Premium for Children up to 18 Years Old

The Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) has announced that the average monthly premium for children will increase by 8 francs or 7.7 percent to 111.80 francs in 2024. However, there are large differences between the cantons. This means that the amount of the premium may vary significantly depending on the canton in which the child lives. The increase is intended to help families with children to cover the costs of health insurance.
