Train of Swiss Federal Railways between Bern and Olten evacuated after collision with animals.

On Monday morning, there were disruptions on the main railway line between Olten SO and Bern due to a collision between a train and animals near Thunstetten shortly after 9am. Passengers from the affected train were evacuated, while the other passenger trains were diverted via the main line over Burgdorf BE, resulting in delays of up to 15 minutes. The type of animals involved in the collision was not immediately known. The disruption affected Intercity trains, Interregio connections and S-Bahn trains, and it was unclear how long the disruption would last.
