The people of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden have elected a person to the National Council. This person is a member of the Swiss Federal Assembly, the federal legislature of Switzerland. The National Council is composed of 200 members who are elected by the people of the cantons. The canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden is one of the smallest cantons in Switzerland, with a population of around 16,000 people. The person elected to the National Council is responsible for representing the interests of the canton in the federal legislature. They will also be involved in the legislative process, helping to shape the laws of Switzerland. The elected person will serve a four-year term in the National Council.
